This wine is grown by Ross Cannard, at Benguerel Family Vineyard on Los Robles series gravelly clay loam. 50% was foot-trod and macerated for several hours before all being pressed together. It went to the tank for fermentation, then finished dry in neutral French oak barrels. The 4-month élevage included lees stirring and 100% Malolactic fermentation. An absence of cold stabilization, fining, or filtration, will yield some harmless solids at the bottom of the bottle. No additives except for 30 ppm SO2 just prior to bottling.
